Darren Turner and Tomas Enge dominated round 6 of GT1 championship presented at the Nürburgring, as their Aston Martin DBR9 clinched pole position, qualifying race victory and championship race win.



Turner set the best performance in qualifying, ahead of Kox and Haase's Lamborghini Murcielago. The Brit and his team mate Tomas Enge took win in qualifying race, although the Czech driver lost positions after a spin in the first lap. Enge regained the lead, and the Aston claimed maiden win ahead of Hennerici and Margaritis' Corvette Z06 and Kox-Haase's Lamborghini Murcielago.

Turner and Enge were still dominant in main race as the led from start to finish, excepted when the had to pit at mid-race. Kox and Haase (Lamborghini) took revenge as they took their second place back ahead of Hennerici and Margaritis.
