Here’s our guide to the best summer and all-season tires available this season

10. BF Goodrich, Cooper, Falken and others

Of course, there are several other manufacturers of quality tires for pickups and bigger SUVs that should be mentioned in this guide, including Michelin's partner BF Goodrich, whose All Terrain K02 products speak for themselves. These light truck and SUV tires can be used both on and off-road, and they are found as original equipment on some popular vehicles like the Ford F-150. They will make good replacement tires on these vehicles.

Cooper is also an American brand known for its affordable tires. The Discoverer SRX on-road line is the one that will fit SUVs and minivans while the AT3 line is designed for both on-road and moderate trail riding.

Similarly, there are tires by Falken (a brand belonging to Japanese manufacturer Sumitomo, but which manufacturers its products in New York State); the company’s WildPeak A/T tires are original equipment on some pickup trucks like the Jeep Gladiator. WildPeak is a brand to consider for SUVs and pickup trucks, as well as Hankook's Dynapro and Kumho's Road Venture (which only gets limited distribution).

This guide tries to give you an overall picture of what's most recommended and in-demand on the market, without wading into the weeds of performance tires or competition-specific off-road tires. And there are many of those.
