The others
There are of course several other brands that are worth considering, among them Dunlop, Hankook, Kumho, Uniroyal, Yokohama and others. It should be possible to find tests carried out on these or other brands online.
Just keep in mind, however, that some of these tests should be taken with a certain grain of salt – especially the comparison tests. Why? Because in reality it’s extremely difficult to bring together different tire brands at the same time, fitted on the same or nearly identical car models, and drive them in identical circumstances. And even then, weather conditions can vary and influence the results of the test. And remember our words of wisdom at the start of this guide: every winter tire represents a compromise choice, no matter which one you choose!
