Henrik Fisker's latest concept car, based on the Aston Martin Vanquish and nicknamed Thunderbolt, made its debut during the Amalia Island Concours in the U.K. As you know, Fisker is none other than the man who penned the famous Aston Martin DB9.

Looking to create “an elegant, beautiful GT sports coupe,” Fisker reshaped the exterior with hand-laid carbon fibre while adding sculpted air intakes, new headlights, “blade-like” taillights, a wraparound rear window, an aluminium grille, and 21” wheels.

This one-off creation isn't endorsed by Aston Martin in any way, Fisker warns. However, interested buyers can get one on a special order basis exclusively via Galpin Aston Martin. These production cars would look like the one in red in the pictures. No word about pricing.
