ELKHART, Ind. — Goshen Coach, a division of Warrick Industries, recently announced that a Goshen Coach GCII shuttle bus was delivered by Hercules aircraft into the remote village of Old Crow, Yukon Territory.

Old Crow is about 150 miles west of Inuvik (north of the Arctic Circle) near the Beaufort Sea. The bus was purchased by Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation, who will use the bus as a community shuttle within the village of Old Crow. There are no roads to Old Crow, except for the roads within the village itself.

The bus was driven from Surrey, British Columbia to Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, which is north of the 60th parallel. The vehicle was then loaded on to a Hercules C-130 and transported by air to Old Crow, north of the Arctic Circle.

Dynamic Specialty Vehicles, Ltd., Goshen Coach's dealer in Surrey, British Columbia, handled all aspects of the sale. D. Shawn Francis, President and General Manager of Dynamic Specialty Vehicles stated, "This may qualify as the most remote location for a Goshen Coach bus. There are no confirmed deliveries of any buses at this time further north in the Arctic Circle than this one."
