Affected customers should have received a letter in the mail this week, apologizing for the data theft. The stolen information includes name, address, vehicle identification number (VIN) and Honda Financial Services (HFS) account numbers. Honda points out that personal information such as birthdates, phone numbers, email addresses as well as credit card, bank account, social insurance and driver’s license numbers.
