Honda will offer a Head Sport Edition option on CR-V EX and CR-V Limited Edition models for 2001.
According to Richard Jacobs of Honda Canada, the CRV-EX with the Head package "represents a total value of $2000 worth of equipment." On the CR-V Limited Edition, Jacobs says, the Head Sport Edition package offers $1850 worth of equipment.
The Head Sport Editions retail for $600 over the trim levels they're on, with the EX going for $28,000 and the Limited Edition going for $30,400, both with freight and PDI extra.
Head Sport Edition CR-Vs include roof racks, Yakima attachment, sidebars, a nose bra and mudguards. Jacobs says "discreet Head Edition" decals and logo appear on the CR-V's tailgate and above the side door moulding.
Along with accessories for the CR-V, the Head Sport edition package offers a $500 Head Sport equipment voucher. Jacobs says this voucher is redeemable for one of three sport equipment packages:
- the Head Skis Option, which is one pair of Cyber X 40 skis, or
- the Head Snowboard Optio, which includes a Generics Snowboard and Blax bindings, or
- the Head Tennis Option, which includes a Ti S6 Racquet, Pro Penn tennis balls, a Head Ti bag and ball cap, and Head T-short and sweatshirt
Jacobs says the CR-V Head Sport Edition models are available at all Honda automobile dealerships in Canada, but in "limited" numbers.
