Sébastien Bourdais and Simon Pagenaud (Peugeot 908) won the Silverstone Six Hours of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup.

Bourdais and Pagenaud started from pole position, but the Audi R18 driven by McNish and Kristensen took the lead after a few laps, followed by both Peugeots and the second R18.

The No. 8 Peugeot was the first one to give up the fight, when Franck Montagny spun into a tire barriers after a contact with a back marker.

Then, it was McNish’s turn to fall into trouble, as he hit a Ferrari F458 GT, which caused steering damages.

Pagenaud and Bourdais’ 908 moved up to the lead, but the Frenchmen had to defend their position against the remaining Audi, driven by Timo Bernhard and Marcel Fassler.

But the Audi had to stop to repairs to the rear of the car, and lost one minute in the pits. Pagenaud and Bourdais took victory ahead of Fässler and Bernhard, and Prémat/Pla/Nicolet took third place aboard their Pescarolo OAK.
