There was almost no action on Tuesday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as the temperature was more reminiscent of mid-autumn than mid-spring as light rain sent everyone packing at 4:05 p.m.
Mike Conway did have a chance to shake down the No. 27 Hire Heroes car on the Indiana oval after some tweaks overnight, while Andretti Autosport teammate Marco Andretti got in five laps.
That was the extent of on-track action – save for crews tuning up on pit lane for pit stop competition qualifications May 18.
The track will open for all cars at noon (ET) May 18.
