Freddy Loix (Skoda Fabia) took third win in his third IRC appearance in Rally Zlin, after Jan Kopecky (Skoda Fabia) and Bryan Bouffier (Peugeot 207) went off while they were leading the event.

In front of his own crowd, Kopecky took the lead from the first superspecial stage, until he lost control of his car in the second day in the afternoon, and was forced to retire. Bryan Bouffier (Peugeot 207), who was running second, moved up to the lead.

But the Frenchman was under pressure from Freddy Loix’s Skoda Fabia, and had a heavy contact which damaged a wheel on his Peugeot. He lost time but he was able to be back on the road before a technical incident stopped him for good.

Loix took his third win in third in three race, and gave Skoda a important win on his own land. It was a 1-2-3 for the Czech manufacturer with championship leader Juho Hanninen in second position and Valousek in third.
