Frenchman Franck Montagny was given the opportunity to test an IndyCar on a road course last week at Sebring on the invitation of Andretti-Green Racing.
Montagny, a former Formula 1 driver with team Super Aguri, has driven an Acura LMP2 prototype for AGR's American Le Mans Series squad this year and had already tested one of the team's Indy cars at Kentucky Speedway in September.
Unlike his first test where he was all-alone on the track, he tested alongside Tony Kanaan and was encouraged by his performance.
It is no secret that the team is trying to find adequate sponsorship for Montagny for him to be driving in the IRL series in 2009.
