Former Formula One driver Franck Montagny tried for the first time an IndyCar on an oval at Kentucky Speedway earlier this week.
The Frenchman was invited by Andretti Green Racing for which he drives in American Le Mans Series.
Unfortunately for him, he was alone on the circuit, thus unable to compare his times with seasoned veterans of the IndyCar series.
Montagny has a certain number of options for next year; one of them could be a drive with Andretti- Green in IRL.
Everything should be decided in October.
