According to the well-informed Indianapolis Star, Venezuelan Ernesto Viso has almost confirmed that he will be back for a second year with HVM Racing for the 2009 season of IndyCar.
Last year, Viso finished 18th overall, with a best race finish of fourth second time out in St. Petersburg in Florida.
Furthermore, the former GP2 driver revealed that he expected Robert Doornbos to be his future teammate in what could be a two-car effort for Keith Wiggins' HVM squad which mirrors the team's expansion in the Indy Lights series.
