After having been charged with tax evasion last October, Penske driver Helio Castroneves will go on trial in March 2009 - just weeks before the 2009 IndyCar Series season is set to begin.
The Brazilian, along with his sister and his lawyer, is accused of failing to pay taxes on a reported $5.5 millions in earnings over a five-year period.
Penske Racing has not make any public statements other than to say that they will wait and see before making any decisions. But with Castroneves due in court on March the 2nd the team will surely have to consider the fact that the two-time Indianapolis 500 winner could be out for a while.
