Team Target Chip Ganassi will become this weekend the first ever team to run two drivers that have won both the Indy 500 and the IndyCar series title during the past two seasons.
Both Scott Dixon and Dario Franchitti will be on hand to drive in the Surfers Paradise event in Australia in what will be the last event of the 2008 IRL calendar.
The Australian race is a non-championship event, but 24 drivers will be at the starting line for what is considered to be one of the most prestigious destinations in the open-wheel category.
