Organizers of the Surfers Paradise IndyCar event have announced that Nikon has been named as the title sponsor of the Australian event that will be renamed the Nikon Indy 300.
Nikon is taking over from well-known Lexmark who had been the sole sponsor when the event was part of the former Champ Car series schedule. Nikon has a one-year deal with an option for two more years.
