At last weekend's race in Long Beach, Mario Dominguez all but confirmed that he could be joining the IRL IndyCar Series with Pacific Coast Motorsports from next month's Indianapolis 500 and, possibly for the rest of the season.
Sources have stated that an announcement could be made this Wednesday to announce that a deal with an important Mexican sponsor has been reached and that it would provide the resources necessary for Dominguez to compete in the next Indy 500 in May.
If everything goes according to the plan, PCM could also compete in all remaining IRL races for 2008.
