Auto123.com published its own version of the 2011 IndyCar provisional schedule yesterday. Looks like we were right as the official calendar unveiled today is exactly as we had anticipated.
Nothing is really new as the already-announced new venue of Baltimore and the return of the New Hampshire one-mile oval in Loudon had been already announced some times ago.
As we revealed yesterday, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway is expected to be brought back as the season’s finale, although the deal has not yet been signed.
Races in Kentucky, Chicago and Homestead have all been dropped along with Watkins Glen, tracks that are all run by International Speedway Corporation.
