Team Penske's new recruit Will Power proved to be the fastest driver on the Barber Motorsports Park circuit on day 2 of the final open test before the season starts at St. Petersburg, posting a quick time of 1:09.456.

The Australian even bettered Scott Dixon's Sunday best time by more than a second.

Target Chip Ganassi Racing's Dario Franchitti provided the closest challenge to Power and move into second spot while Penske's Ryan Briscoe and Ganassi's Scott Dixon also filled the third and fourth positions on the timesheets.

Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing duo Graham Rahal and Robert Doornbos took 5th and 6th.
