You can bring Jeeps of any vintage, but each unit must have front tow hooks, seat belts, full size spare, and skid plates. CB Radios are mandatory, but handheld units are acceptable. Additional items that you may want to include are rear tow hooks and heavy-duty nylon tow straps.
You have to get yourself and your vehicle to the site and no accommodation is included (Jeep does provide a list of local places to stay), but you get meals and t-shirts and that kind of thing.
The cost depends on the number and ages of the people you bring in your vehicle. So each adult is $215, each youth from 7 to 14) is $90, children 3 to 6 are $50 each, and kids under 3 are free. There's also a family package for $500 that covers two adults and up to three youths.
Jeep Jamboree Canada events start on Friday and end on Sunday and they will take place at the following times and places in Canada this year:
- Kingston, Nova Scotia , June 1-3
- Bolton Ouest/Lac Brome, Quebec, June 15-17
- Bobcaygeon/Buckhorn, Ontario, July 6 -8 and July 13-15
- Penticton, B.C., July 27-29
- Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, August 10-12 and August 17-19
- Mont Sainte Anne, Quebec, September 21-23
