Reigning Indy Light series' champion Jean-Karl Vernay recently tested an ORECA LMP2 endurance prototype on the Paul Ricard HTTT circuit in southern France.
The Frenchman, who competed in the Formula 3 Euroseries championship, moved to USA last year where he clinched the Indy Light title with team Sam Schmidt Motorsports in his rookie season.
Vernay recently had his first taste of an Indy car during a promising test with Team Conquest.
The Frenchman obviously wants to race in the IZOD IndyCar series this season, but he could also be back in Europe to compete in endurance events, including 24 Hours of Le Mans in June.
