Team Pescarolo didn't miss its return to competition, as the French squad captured victory in the Le Castellet Six Hours, opening round of the 2011 Le Mans Series championship.
After the team could not compete in 2010 due to financial concerns, the team of Henri Pescarolo clinched victory on Sunday after a very impressive performance on the Paul Ricard HTTT circuit in southern France.
The LMP1 prototype driven by Emmanuel Collard, Christophe Tinseau and Julien Jousse crossed the finish line in first position ahead of the Rebellion Lola-Toyota of Bouillion and Bellichi, who started from pole position.
In LMP2, victory went to the Zytek Nissan of Team Greaves, while the Pegasus Racing's Oreca clinched victory for its maiden participation in the Formula Le Mans category.
In GT, the new Ferrari F458 clinched its first major victory with team JMW by finishing first in the GT Pro category.
