I'm still dreaming about those beautiful vintage cars. Perhaps one day...

Before taking a look back at the Tremblant event, let me share three memories of my experience in Toronto for the recent Champ Car race.

The main bleachers in front of the starting line are really impressive, particularly with this magnificent building and green glass towers.

On Sunday, there was not a single empty seat when the race kicked off.

During the pre-race ceremonies, I was lucky enough to have Alexandre Tagliani and his entire pit crew pose for a picture.

Talk about a sweet, unique souvenir!

On the podium: the winner Will Power from Team Australia stands next to the owner, Derreck Walker (centre).

On the left: Neel Jani (2nd). On the right: Justin Wilson (3rd).

Now, let's shift back our attention to Tremblant and the "Sommet des Légendes" that was held last weekend.

Upon my arrival at around 8 a.m. on Saturday, clouds were still dancing with the mountain.

Fortunately, the weather was terrific during the entire weekend.

This gorgeous 1952 Allard was driven by Lawrence Macks. Its very distinctive look made it a favorite of photographers.

The owner refused to tell me the value of this legendary machine.

Among my dream cars was obviously this superb 1971 Ferrari 365 GTB Daytona Comp belonging to Peter LeSaffre.

Boy, what I would give to drive this racing rocket...

In the Monoposto Wings Class, this 1974 Lola T332 produced hair-raising sounds.

I fell in love with Larry Nevlaser's car. Again, I was unable to find out its real value. These guys sure know how to keep their mouth shut when it comes to $$$.

I can't say exactly why, but these good ol' Maseratis still impress me.

This one, a 1955 250F, was driven by Charles McCabe.
