Saleen's aftermarket division, SpeedLab, announced the introduction of a new supercharger technology called SuperShaker.
As a vibrant nod to the glorious muscle car era, the SuperShaker is engineered and designed to fit all Ford Mustang GTs, considerably increasing their power. It combines an intercooled supercharger with a "ram air" hood scoop.
Once up to speed, the SuperShaker system rams fresh, cold air into the air box where it is pressurized, allowing greater boost at higher speeds. The result is very impressive: total output for the Mustang GT rockets from 300 to 700 horsepower.
Saleen now offers four different power-enhancing kits for the Mustang GT. The SuperShaker is the ultimate one -- and it can be yours for $6,950 USD. Production is set to begin in late August.
