Macau Grand Prix: Alex Lynn to start on pole of Formula 3 race

British driver Alex Lynn clinched pole position for the Formule 3 qualifying race to be held in the strteets of Macau. It is Lynn's first time in Macau.

Lynn, who took fourth position in British Formula 3 Championship, managed to beat the main favourites of the event.

The Briton set the fastest qualifying time ahead of GP3 contender Antonio Felix Da Costa, and F3 Euroseries' champion and 2011 Macau GP winner Daniel Juncadella.

Carlos Sainz Jr was fifth fastest ahead of GP2 driver Felipe Nasr.

Qualifying race will be presented Saturday, before the main race on Sunday.
