If you've been considering a new Volkswagen as a Christmas gift for you or a loved one, your timing couldn't be better. The German automaker has announced a sales program in effect from now until the end of December 2007 which will see price reductions on new models.
Reinforcing the brand's value-pricing proposition, manufacturer to dealer savings as part of the sale will slash $1,000 from the Jetta's sticker, and $2,000 on the Passat and Touareg 2.
These savings are in addition to adjustments in 2007 model year pricing which Volkswagen says was carried out to reflect the strengthening Canadian dollar. Previous adjustments saw reductions of over $1,500 across the model lineup.
"Volkswagen Canada continues to realize strong sales, up 10 % over 2006 through October, by providing exceptional value on fun to drive, German-engineered cars," said John White, Executive Vice-President. "Our goal is to continue delivering more value and savings to Canadians, as well as to maintain our competitive position in the market."
