The all-new Maserati Levante is scheduled to go on sale in Canada this September as an alternative to performance-minded luxury SUVs like the Porsche Cayenne Sport, BMW X6, and Range Rover Sport.
Pricing starts at $88,900, or $98,900 in S trim.
The heart and soul of the Maserati Levante is a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine producing 345 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. The aforementioned S model cranks output up to 424 horsepower and 580 lb-ft of torque. Naturally, the sound of the engine lives up to the reputation of the exotic Italian brand.
While developing the Levante, Maserati engineers paid special attention to driving dynamics and strived to achieve a perfect 50/50 weight distribution and a low centre of gravity. All-wheel drive contributes to sharp handling both on the road and the track, not to mention in extreme off-road conditions. It’s 100% SUV, 100% Maserati.
Fashion icon Ermenegildo Zegna designed the cabin, which offers a rich selection of leathers, metals, woods, colours, and stitching. Let’s not forget Mulberry silk trim for the headliner and door panels.
