Cambiocorsa six-speed sequential gearbox, the shift gate has been reorganized to include a Drive position which, when the T-Shaped lever is slotted into that position, the car is put into first gear. Previously, the gear gate had two positions, requiring the driver to select first gear via the steering-column mounted paddles.

Also practical, the new model features an enlarged storage bin in addition to the glove box.

identifying the new Coupe and Spyder as it should be quite popular.

Maserati has announced that both vehicles will reach dealer showrooms by September, although a price has yet to be finalized. It is expected that like the previous minor update, the increase will be either marginal or there won't be any increase at all, as no mechanical changes have been made.

It's important to note, that while the 2005 model offers subtle changes to align styling details of the coupe and convertible models to its Quattroporte sedan, a much more thorough update is expected in about a year. Company insiders say the next-generation Maserati sports models will mirror the Quattroporte even more closely.
