Planète Mazda is now replacing Mazda de Blainville in Mirabel, Quebec. With ever-expanding operations, the old facilities were simply no longer up to the task. When making plans for the new dealership, Yvon and Sylvain Loiselle took no shortcuts. They chose Mirabel because the proposed location was very interesting and promising. The new facilities are three times larger and consequently much more impressive.
According to Jim O'Sullivan, President and CEO of Mazda North America, Planète Mazda is "one of the most stunning Mazda dealerships on the planet!" Meanwhile, Sylvain Loiselle hopes to become one of the 10 best Mazda dealerships in Quebec and 25 best in North America in terms of sales volumes.
Planète Mazda officially opened three months ago. The increase in sales since the opening gives reason to believe that the executives will achieve the ambitious goals they've set for their dealership. Over these last 90 days, the number of customers has increased by about 30 percent. Week in and week out, the service department adds 15 new customers on average, meaning the 22 service bays will soon be operating at full speed.
Over 100 guests attended the ceremony marking the official launch of Planète Mazda, including O'Sullivan and Don Romano, President of Mazda Canada. During the evening, Cirque Éloize gave a spectacular, high-flying performance. Music was taken care of by DJ Gino Gabriel.
The highlight of the night was definitely the unveiling of the all-new 2009 Mazda6, which will arrive in showrooms next September.
