Mazda used the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show to introduce the new KOERU concept, a sporty-looking crossover that’s naturally blessed with SKYACTIV technology and KODO styling.
The name “KOERU”, which literally means “exceed” or “go beyond” in Japanese, comes from Mazda’s aspiration to deliver value that goes well beyond the existing category norms and standards.
The looks are reminiscent of other Mazda crossovers, with the sleek profile the brand has been famous for in recent years. Little is known about the KOERU, and Mazda didn’t say whether this is a preview of the future CX-9 or a possible addition to the lineup.
