Mazda is on a hot-streak at the moment. With hot new models such as the 3, 6, RX-8 and the new 5, the MX Crossport almost makes perfect sense. This Concept is a sporty crossover SUV with style, which takes its major cues from the company's RX-8 sports car. At just over 4.5 meters long, the MX-Crossport could be considered compact but the interior is roomy thanks to a relatively long wheelbase. Shod with, what was oversized 3 years ago, 20" alloy wheels and 275/45R20 tires, the MX looks the part of a real Zoom-Zoom SUV that could spend its sleepless nights on the track.
Neither engine nor the intention to produce the MX-Crossport was announced however it was mentioned that it hints at a possible design direction for future Mazda products.
