Mazda released the first few pictures of the MINAGI Concept, which is rumoured to become the Japanese company's future compact CUV, the CX-5. The vehicle will debut at the 81st Geneva Motor Show as the forerunner to the launch of Mazda's upcoming next-generation products. It also symbolizes the evolution of the Mazda brand.
The MINAGI translates emotional KODO design, which is said to communicate pent up energy bursting with vitality as the vehicle nimbly navigates a sprawling urban cityscape.
Furthermore, the MINAGI is equipped with a SKYACTIV engine and SKYACTIV transmission fitted to a SKYACTIV body and chassis. These innovations illustrate Mazda's commitment to delivering outstanding driving dynamics as well as major safety and efficiency attributes across its entire lineup by 2015.
In essence, the manufacturer will showcase various engine models featuring direct injection and clean diesel technology along with advanced manual and automatic transmissions.
The SHINARI Concept will also be on display in Geneva, not to mention the fleet of existing Mazda products.
