Personally, I recommend advanced driving courses like this for everyone. Imagine how many accidents would be avoided if every driver would take advantage of that precious second of reaction time while being more confident behind the wheel.
The half-day Driving Experience costs $395, while the Mastering Performance track day costs $1,595. Both events include breakfast and/or lunch. It sounds costly until you realize that the skills learned here could help you avoid an obstacle or crash your car, and who knows, it may save your life.
While talking to a few participants, I asked what motivated them to attend the event. For some, the main reason was to drive the cars, obviously, but for others it was to sharpen their skills. One guy had just purchased a C63 AMG, and wanted to get some pointers before taking delivery of his new beast.
