The carbon-fiber bucket seats are wrapped in hand-stitched leather and the distinctively-styled fiberglass front section is based on F1 techniques. Obviously, the signature silver star crowns the unmistakable package.
Advanced powertrain
The F-CELL Roadster is controlled with drive-by-wire technology and a joystick replaces the conventional steering wheel. The vehicle is powered by a fuel cell system located at the rear, under a translucent cover that allows everyone to admire it.
With a battery rating of 1.2 kW, the F-CELL Roadster reaches a top speed of 25 km/h and has an operating range of up to 350 kilometers.
It goes without saying that this concept has absolutely no chance of getting the green light for production and marketing. However, expect the F-CELL Roadster to wind up in the halls of the Mercedes-Benz Museum, in Stuttgart.
