Mercedes-Benz last week posted a picture of the all-new G 500 4x42 ahead of the 2015 Geneva Motor Show This SUV is based on the 6x6 G-Class, and we now know that it will produce 422 horsepower thanks to a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine with direct injection.
Exterior features include carbon fibre fender flares that extend the vehicle's width to 2.10 metres (height is 2.25 metres), as well as 325/55R22 off-road tires (18” wheels are optional), extra ground clearance, and adjustable shocks.
The sporty and luxurious interior of the G 500 4x42 offers a unique ambiance with the Exclusive package. The seat bolsters and head restraints as well as the dashboard, centre console and armrests in the doors are styled in black designo leather with white contrasting topstitching.
Production plans remain a mystery. Mercedes-Benz will first gauge customer reactions at the Geneva Motor Show.
