German luxury automaker Mercedes-Benz has teamed up with Sirius Canada Inc. to provide buyers of many new Mercedes models a nearly limitless selection of entertainment while on the road.
Canada's number one choice for satellite radio will be installed as standard equipment on all Mercedes E, S, CL, CLS, SL, ML, R, and GL Class vehicles, and optionally available on the B, C, CLK and SLK Class machines.
On all models, the satellite radio install is performed at the factory- eleminating the need to buy and install an aftermarket receiver which can leave messy wiring exposed throughout the car's interior.
Mercedes is including a 6-month free subscription on all equipped models, including its AMG lineup. Once the free trial expires, owners can carry forward with the service for $15 per month. Maybach vehicles will come with standard Sirius as well, though its owners are provided a lifetime subscription.
