MINI Concept Detroit

The MINI Concept Detroit could be described as the 2-door station-wagon version of the beloved coupe.  45 years have elapsed since the original Mini Traveller was launched in 1960, the model on which the Detroit is based.

MINI says this concept is the inspiration for a brand-new North American vehicle within 3 years.

The Concept Detroit is meant to be a useful travelling partner. This vehicle is designed to hold four occupants in comfort as well as all your gear. The rear double doors open away and out of the way from each other. This allows for maximum access to the cargo area. The rear sliding windows increase the openness and ease of entrance to the trunk. In the luggage compartment, we find an adjustable cargobox that features a transparent cover that doubles as a separator between the trunk and the passenger quarters.

The remainder of the cabin is shod in leather, alloy trim and with aluminium accents. This vehicle will certainly be a worthy companion for the open road as it still is a MINI Cooper, one of the best driving cars on the planet.
