A lightening blue MINI Coupe has rolled off the production line at Plant Oxford in the UK as the first production version of the latest MINI offering in an already star-studded lineup.
Built on the same platform as the hatch, Clubman and cabriolet, the new MINI Coupe has been much-anticipated by MINI fans the globe over, and the workers at Plant Oxford were just as excited to complete their first model and send it out onto the open road.
Touted as being one of the most dynamic MINIs to drive, the Coupe is the first two-seater MINI to hit the road. A Roadster version is set to appear early next year.
Although the blue beauty is out in the real world in the UK, on its way to a dealership where it will be used for training dealers and mechanics, actual ownership of pre-ordered MINI Coupes won't happen until October 1st.
