Smaller than an Outlander, the RVR is all-new and promises ample utility space and high performance.

In the released pictures, the RVR looks particularly attractive, featuring the company’s corporate open-mouth grille, tidy dimensions and muscular stance. The crossover’s length is 4,300 mm or 170 inches, so it’s shorter than a Lancer sedan.

Power will come from a 1.8-litre MIVEC inline-4, although output figures have not yet been released.

The Mitsubishi RVR will be available in Japan next spring, and will be released in several other markets afterwards, including North America, Europe and China.
