LANGLEY, B.C. The right replacement tires for the full range of Mitsubishi vehicles, from the hottest new sports sedan to the most rugged sport utility vehicle, will be available from Mitsubishi dealers across the country, the result of a new agreement between Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada, Inc. and Yokohama Tire (Canada) Inc.
Beginning this summer, the coast-to-coast network of 74 Mitsubishi dealers will be able to provide premium Yokohama tires for the full range of original equipment (OE) tire sizes, along with the recommended winter tires for the complete Mitsubishi line of cars and light trucks, the two companies announced.
Owners of Mitsubishi cars like the acclaimed Lancer Evo X are already familiar with the extraordinary performance and superior driving characteristics of Yokohama ADVAN ultra high performance tires, which are standard equipment on Evo X.
It just makes sense for Mitsubishi owners to be able to get the right tires for their vehicles from the source they trust their regular Mitsubishi dealer, says Eric Dedoyard, Director of Sales for Yokohama Canada. Now Mitsubishi owners can look after tire replacement in the same place where they get their vehicles serviced, with the same confidence.
The dealerships will work with existing Yokohama dealers to manage product distribution.
Yokohama Tire (Canada) Inc. markets and distributes a full line of tires for high performance, passenger car, light truck, and commercial truck applications, as well as off-the-road tires for mining, forestry and construction applications. It maintains distribution centres across Canada to serve more than 700 independent tire dealers.
