Toyota Corolla
The Corolla made its Canadian debut in 1967 as a reliable, quality car. Like the Civic, this small economy vehicle would now be considered as a subcompact. The Corolla never ceased to expand from one generation to the next. Now in its 10th generation, reliability and liveability are better than ever. I had the pleasure of owning a 1970 4-door sedan (almost identical to the 1969 model) and I still miss it dearly.
Dodge Charger
The Dodge Charger became famous by starring in numerous movies such as Bullitt and in the TV series Dukes of Hazard. With Richard "King" Petty behind the wheel, this car also shattered many racing records on the oval speedways of NASCAR. Now, with the renaissance of the legendary HEMI engine, the Charger is back and equally powerful... albeit in 4-door format.
