Nissan Azeal Concept |
Nissan first displayed their Azeal concept to the public at the 2005 NAIAS. This concept is a youth-oriented sports coupe that is roughly the size of a Sentra and seeks buyers in the 20-25 year-old range. The Azeal features all the currently trendy gadgetry, like an integrated cell phone and an MP3 player. It also sports an integrated retractable rear spoiler. It's also the first Nissan to come out of their new Farmington Hills, Michigan design centre.
In a car designed to blend affordability and desirability, the drivetrain can make all the difference. Under the hood of the Azeal is a turbocharged 4-cylinder mated to a 6-speed manual transmission equipped with a limited-slip differential. Exterior features include 19" wheels, dual exhaust pipes, side skirts and a spoiler topped off with glass roof panels like those found in the Maxima and Quest.
