Fans of unique, vintage-style automobiles know and love Morgan. Today, the legendary British luxury automaker unveiled the all-electric EV3 and the 80th Anniversary 4/4 at the 2016 Geneva Auto Show.
The Morgan EV3 is the brand’s first production electric vehicle ― and certainly the industry’s first bespoke, hand-crafted EV. Assembly will begin in the fall of 2016. Pricing and performance figures will be comparable to the gasoline-powered 3 Wheeler. Expect a range of nearly 250 kilometres.
Meanwhile, the Morgan 4/4 80th Anniversary celebrates the longest-running production car in the world (the 4/4 was first launched in 1936 at exhibitions in London and Paris). Just 80 examples will be built, each one available in three colours reminiscent of those offered on the first cars.
