While there were no participants from Quebec in the main race, I had the opportunity to watch a couple of them in some of the sub-races.

Maxime Pelletier, third place in Formula BMW.

Among others, Maxime Pelletier, who raced for the last time in Formula BMW, managed to finish third early on Sunday afternoon.

Maxime refused to reveal the series he will be racing in next year. Stay tuned...

Yannick Hofman, from Rosemere, Quebec, in Formula BMW USA.

His fellow countryman Yannick Hofman barely missed the podium (4th place) but still put on quite a performance.

Yannick is a very sympathetic and articulate young man who fully deserves to be sponsored by a major company to maximize his chances of breaking through.

Kuno Wittmer, from Hudson, Quebec, in his Acura RSX.

In Touring Class, our friend Kuno Wittmer was literally robbed of the victory. His teammate Pierre Kleinubing cut in front of him on four separate occasions, allowing the two Audi A4s to easily finish first and second.

Finally, I want to thank and congratulate the organizers of the Grand Prix of Mosport, especially Lee Bailie, who was in charge of media relations and proved to be an excellent guide throughout the weekend.

Legendary Canadian driver Ron Fellows, a.k.a the ''Mayor''.

Congratulations to the legendary Ron Fellows, who finished third in the GT1 Class with his Corvette C-6R number 33.

Here's hoping his expected retirement will be temporary; after all, he's so valuable to auto racing!
