Jorge Lorenzo's injuries are worse than expected following his crash during practice for the Chinese Grand Prix last weekend.

The Yamaha rider underwent further tests in Barcelona and he was diagnosed with a broken right ankle and a broken ligament in the left one.

Although he will not have to undergo surgery, the Spaniard will have to stay immobilized and his participation in the next round at Le Mans on May the 18th could be in doubt. Further tests, next Monday, will be crucial to see if the recovery as expected.
