In Formula 1 news, the big story is that the Mercedes V8's being 'suspect' at best. Even the normally quiet Kimi Raikkonen is making some noise.
"I was expecting nothing before I came, so I
knew we have issues with certain stuff, but we are going to get there and there is going to be some improvement," commented Raikkonen. "The biggest part of the problem is the engine. They are not where they should be and they need to improve. On the engine side we have a lot of work to do."
Things are beginning to get very interesting on the Valentino Rossi front, as he will test a Ferrari at Valencia with other cars present. This marks a huge change for the boys in red, and proves if nothing else, they are serious about recruiting Rossi. Rossi will test an F2004 rather than the new Ferrari 248 F1. How does new recruit Filipe Massa feel about that? He seems to be concentrating on other things lately, like putting down the fastest laps during the last two tests of the new car. Hmmm... does this mean that Ferrari's back?
