Fast Cars and Fast Women, Nothing Seems to Change
The weekend of July 25-27 was definitely exciting for car racing fans living in Vancouver, B.C., and everywhere. Occurring earlier this year than in previous years, the Molson Indy took the West Coast by storm. With record crowds and a relative heat wave the Indy was the place to be.

Renowned Champ Car drivers such as Michel Jourdain Jr., Max Papis, and Bruno Junqueira, graced the city's asphalt; not to mention rookies Sebastien Bourdais and Ryan Hunter-Reay, and Canadian home-grown heroes such as Paul Tracy, Patrick Carpentier and Alex Tagliani. It was a weekend of fast cars, loud noise, and good-looking men in jumpsuits.

Many people came to the Indy for a family fun weekend, other's come for the cars, some come for the beer, media come for the stories, and a lot of guys come for the Molson Indy girls. Whatever reason for attending, there is more to the Molson Indy than just fast cars.
Attendees also experienced some exciting action on track with Barber Dodge, a developmental series instrumental in leading talented young drivers to the Champ Car level. Although Barber Dodge is not as fast-paced as the 240 mph top-speed, 750-horsepower Champ Car cars, their 265 horsepower V6 engines have the potential of 155 mph, fast enough for exciting racing.
