Movie: '33 days - Born to be wild', the story of Niki Lauda (+video)

A new movie about the life of Niki Lauda is about to be launched. His incredible journey is told with never before seen footage and exclusive interviews.

Titled “33 DAYS - Born to be wild” is the unique journey of Ferrari Formula 1 driver Niki Lauda in 1976 between his almost fatal crash at the green hell and his miraculous comeback in at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza 33 days after he left the hospital.

The feature documentary with unseen footage and exclusive interviews features Sir Jackie Stewart, David Coulthard, Marc Webber, Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Hans-Joachim Stuck, Jochen Mass, Daniele Audetto, Bernd Mayländer, and many more.

The film also reflects on the safety development between the early 1900s and today.

The film will be shown for the first time at the Festival de Cannes, May 18th at 6pm.
