Mustang Collection:

For the Pony car lover, the Montreal auto show has a complete collection of some of the most desirable models ever to come off the Ford assembly lines.

It begins with a 1964 ½ convertible powered by the legendary 289 ci V8 that produces 200 hp. Next we have a 1967 Shelby GT 350. It also has the 289 ci engine under the hood except this time it puts out 306 hp. Next to it, there is a white 1968 fastback GT similar to the one driven by Steve McQueen in the movie Bullitt. Its V8 is a 390 ci that develops 325 hp. A 1969 Mach 1 is next and a 351 ci V8 lurks under the hood of this white beast. The forward race through time continues with a 1970 Boss 302 with 290 hp. The darker Mustang days are represented by a 1977 Mustang II. Its highly modified 302 ci engine pumps out 325 hp, up from the stock 134 hp. The 80s were more experimental and a rare 215 hp 2.3 L turbocharged 1986 SVO is on display. A red 1992 Convertible equipped with the 5.0L V8 indicates the return of a proper high performance Mustang. The last renewal, 1999, saw the return of horsepower. Output from the 4.6L V8 was 260 hp.

All of these cars are in prime condition. These words do not do these cars any justice. They have to be seen to be fully appreciated.
