Andrew Ranger, who will be at the Iowa Speedway to kick-off his season in NASCAR K&N Eastern Series, had the occasion to get acquainted with his new car last week when he took part in a short practice session at Lime Rock.
Ranger was pleased to meet his new crewmembers and, although he was only able to complete just 50 laps, said the reception he had was positive on every front.
The team choose to send two of their cars to their facilities in order to have them fully repaired. That explains why Ranger won’t be able to get any test time on an oval before the start of the season at the Iowa Speedway.
The two-time NASCAR Canadian Tire Series’ champion will have two cars at his disposal for his first race of the season and, good news to Ranger, David Jacombs, his former boss in the NCTS, has decided to serve as spotter for Ranger for the remaining races of the current season.
